Audiophile friends are fantastic

It’s so great having friends that are totally into music. Especially friends that are into many different kinds of music. Case in point, Chris Fehnel, one of the elite TUG.n crew. (hee hee, I say that because it’s true ;^)
This guy is all over the music scene. Sure, he’s got his fav’s and a core playlist that I’m sure he always falls back on when required. Every week he diligently posts a new song of the week up on TUG.n and it’s usually from a different band. The crazy part? Most of the bands I haven’t even heard of. The benefit of being a TUG-er? Being introduced to all this music through the site then getting samples of the best tracks. My music collection is definitely seeing some improvements over the last little while — at least in my eyes anyway.

I try my best to branch out as much as possible because there is talent all over the place that is just waiting to be found. It’s always a plus when more people listen to bands they normally wouldn’t because you never know if you’ll like it if you never try it.
There are people out there that won’t even listen to something I think they will like, but then I force them to. ( Am I right Colin and Tubby?) Then I catch them listening to it when they think I wouldn’t find out. That’s when I know I’ve done my job.
