I guess I’m not autistic
March 29th, 2006
Through Ethan’s site I was pointed to the Wired AQ test. For fun I thought I would give it a go. My score after answering all 50 questions? 11. Turns out I’m not so autistic.
Apparently I’m Austin

Took a fun little quiz a few days ago that will tell you what city you are based on your answers to a few questions. Even though I’ve wanted to visit for quite some time it seems that I should definitely take the time to stop by now.
You Are Austin

A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll. You’re totally weird and very proud of it.
Artistic and freaky, you still seem to fit in… in your own strange way.

Saab concept hits the sweet spot
March 5th, 2006
Saab, traditionally known for its jet engines more-so than its cars, is currently exhibiting some of its concept cars in Geneva right now. Leftlane News has posted a couple videos of these concepts.
Up until I saw that video I had made it a goal of mine to either get an Aston Martin or a high end Mercedes — when I have the cash of course. Seeing the video of the Aero X concept may have me rethinking that decision.

There are things being said and there are words being tossed back and forth. Some words are true, some are not.
All I’ve got to say is that although I’ve yet to meet Paul Scrivens we have had a few witty exchanges in various blog comments. It’s all in good fun and I enjoy doing it.
Everything I’ve heard about Paul tells me that he is a stand up guy. You cover his back and he’ll cover yours. Here’s to you Paul. Everything comes and goes and you’re better off for taking the high road.
Note: This mushy post was inspired by todays events across the blogosphere — have we found a new word for that yet — and this post by Colin.
This sums it up quite well currently down but link will be restored when it’s back up again It’s back online again
Blatant self-promotion time
February 13th, 2006
It’s been under wraps for the last month but I am happy to announce that Go! ‘Necks! Go!, the unofficial fan site for the Calgary Roughnecks lacrosse team, is live!
Lacrosse has become my favorite sport to watch over the last couple years — partly due to the fact that I’m not rich enough to fly down to Florida or Texas and catch the NCAA football games I love so much.
Not to take anything away from lacrosse though. It is our national sport in Canada, even though hockey is definitely more popular — for now. Since I started watching lacrosse, the Calgary Roughnecks have managed to go from an expansion team to league champions in only 5 years. Not only were they the champions in 2004 but they also have numerous Western Division titles during those 5 years as well. Read the rest of this entry »
