Has it really been 17 weeks already?! Wow, this has got to be the second longest commitment I’ve made in recent memory. That statement may not be entirely true but it sure is close, the other long term commitments would involve sports and school — which shouldn’t really count because school is a completely different creature all together. Last week I mentioned that exercise has become a regular activity or, to clarify that thought, regular physical activities have become a part of my routine now. The Diet: Week 15 weigh in

Ah, it’s good to be back after taking over a month off of the diet due to my little moving drama. Not only did I forget to weigh in or not have a scale at my disposal but I also indulged far too often in the practice of eating out and choosing some very questionable foods when I did so. It’s been a while since I’ve graced these pages with some new information and I feel bad, especially with all the crap I left you with before my absence. I’ll do my best to get everyone back up to speed and dispel any rumors of my untimely demise — not that there have been any but wouldn’t it be fun if there were :^)

If it’s been a while you may want to give yourself a little refresher course on what’s been going on in my world. First, I’ve started dieting with Colin, Eliza, James, Chris and a huge list of others — feel free to follow my journey. Secondly, I started my move this month and managed to have an interesting experience with my bank. There was also the issue of my pet snake getting lost and found.

The Diet: Week 10 weigh in

It’s that time again ladies and gentlemen, time to wonder in amazement at how I continue to be a lazy bastard and still lose weight. It might have something to do with the methods I’m using, ah, who am I kidding, that’s probably the only reason I’m actually losing weight.

I suppose we’ll start off with the bad news because after the bad news is only slightly better news. Due to the whole moving thing these last couple weeks have made it very difficult for me to maintain my usual level of discipline. For some reason, I really get entrenched in my routines — must have something to do with being a Virgo, at least that’s what I’m told — and when those routines are interrupted all hell breaks loose.
