The Diet: Week 8 weigh in
July 25th, 2006
Another week another weigh in. Time just seems to fly by when it comes to these little status updates for the diet. Of course time may also be flying by because I’ve just started packing and there is only a week left until we have to be out of our house but that’s another story altogether.
Until this week the diet has been going well. This week I thought was going to cause problems with this diet because I was pretty lazy when it came to watching what I was eating. In the last seven days I’ve probably eaten out at least four times. At least half of those four times I was very unconcerned with ordering healthy items off the menu. Read the rest of this entry »
The Diet: Week 7 weigh in
July 18th, 2006
This week was a bit of a surprise. I had already prepared myself for disappointment based on what I remember my eating habits having been like this last week. In retrospect, I may have only been focusing on the negatives, which is always a poor way to go.

Just a warning, this post is inspired by one of those girl magazines — Marie Claire or something like that, it had Ashley Simpson with her new nose on the front — and it may contain much more information than you’d like to know. This information is on the sexual side of the spectrum so consider yourself warned if you choose to keep reading.
The Diet: Week 6 weigh in

Not too much can be said about this week of the diet. Since my brain doesn’t really seem to be working I’ll do my best to recall what I can of week number 6.
First thing that comes to mind is that even though my eating habits have changed due to the morning and afternoon shakes, I found that I missed a few meals throughout this week. I’m not really sure how that happens, especially since I was so used to the actual act of eating but it has. Maybe the replacement of food with a supplement has made it easier to dismiss a meal in my mind. Either way it’s not a good thing to have happening.
The Diet: Week 5 weigh in
July 4th, 2006
Week number five, just trying to stay alive. Well, not really. It’s more like I’m just working on wrapping my skull around the areas I need to improve and actually making the mental — and physical — leap to improve them.
This week was definitely better than last week, mostly because there wasn’t nearly as much eating out. Due to the weekend festivities — July 1st is Canada Day, aka. Canada’s b-day, for those not in the know — we hosted a BBQ with some friends.
