I may be entire out of the loop in this but it seems that there is a new Hollywood production coming to film in our fair city. According to Variety, the feature film Resurrecting the Champ will begin principle shooting here in Calgary starting in June.

What does this mean for the celeb watchers? It means camping outside of houses reported to be occupied by the likes of Josh Hartnett, Rachel Nichols, Kathryn Morris and the venerable Alan Alda. For me it means stalking… er, I mean looking out for the man, Samuel L. Jackson. This summer just got a whole lot more exciting. I wonder if it’s still to late to join the union.

Not too long ago a friend of mine, Chris Rhee, was helping out a couple of his buddies. They were filming something for a class project. After they had finished they loaded up the car with their equipment. Unfortunately this is when some scoundrel absconded with all of Chris’ stuff. Here’s the story in his own words.

That being said, they’re asking for donations to help Chris get money so he can replace his equipment. 9rules is helping out, Colin is helping, Crapfilter is helping and I’m helping out. All it takes is $5 and I know I can spent an extra night eating in instead of spending that $5 on take out this week.

There are two tremendous opportunities for me in the US, the first being establishing a new company with a fantastic partner and taking over the globe — in our niche — and the second is to start working for a newly established, grass-roots company.
