I guess I’m not autistic

Through Ethan’s site I was pointed to the Wired AQ test. For fun I thought I would give it a go. My score after answering all 50 questions? 11. Turns out I’m not so autistic.
No more Hurwitz on Arrested Development
March 28th, 2006
There hasn’t been any news regarding Arrested Development and it’s future on TV for a while but today I was treated to an interesting article on MovieWeb. According to the site, who quotes Variety as its source, show creator Mitch Hurwitz will not be returning to Arrested Development.
This comes as a major blow since the deal for Showtime to take over the reigns depended on Hurwitz’s involvement. Currently Showtime hasn’t made a statement in response to the news. Hurwitz did mention that he is not completely withdrawing from the show as he’d like to give it the best chance possible since most of the offers to continue the show hinge in his involvement.
Apparently I’m Austin

Took a fun little quiz a few days ago that will tell you what city you are based on your answers to a few questions. Even though I’ve wanted to visit for quite some time it seems that I should definitely take the time to stop by now.
You Are Austin

A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll. You’re totally weird and very proud of it.
Artistic and freaky, you still seem to fit in… in your own strange way.

Ah, the upgrade process, it’s so simple and yet it always seem to take a long time to actually do it. I’ve had the 2.0.2 update or WP for a while now but just this second decided to make the upgrade.
Why did it take so long? I have no idea. Another thing I’ve been meaning to do over the past few months is to update the permanent link structure of the site. I’ve been loosing interest in the http://screenflicker.com/mike/2006/03/title-here/ format. This blog is now home to links in a categorical format, i.e., http://screenflicker.com/mike/category/title-here/. Much nicer on the eyes and it just seems to make more sense in my opinion.
So for the 3 people that may have bookmarked entries here be sure to update your links. Ta-ta and good drinking.
Damn furnace busted again

This is getting ridiculous. When I moved to my current place over a year ago it was pretty mild in terms of temperature so the coolness in the house wasn’t that bad. Of course this year, when winter came, I realized just how cold winter really gets.
Originally I thought it was just the fact that I lived in an old house that wasn’t even close to being energy efficient. So after a month or so my roommate started noticing that the thermostat temperature needle wouldn’t move past 16ºC — even when the thermostat was cranked up to 25 — which was warmer than outside but the draft coming from the windows and doors made the actual temperature inside seem a lot colder.
