Office update

November 9th, 2005

Well, it’s been a while since I posted about my old, messy office. I thought it was about time to let you in on the progress. I call it the I’m halfway there stage. Of course, with only 5 more months left on my lease and an uncertain future relating to this current house I’m not sure if this particular office will ever make it to the totally finished stage.

And now, on to the pictures.

9rules 2.0

November 1st, 2005

It’s finally happened and I think the red guy downstairs is putting on a jacket. The boys at 9rules have finally launched version 2.0, I’m glad they took their time though.

This is definitely a 2.0 version and it’s one of the best implementations of recent techniques I’ve seen in a very, very long time. The design genius Mike Rundle and the Master Jedi coder Colin Devroe have worked their magic to create an easy to use, vibrant, and extremely powerful system for the 9rules network.

The key feature? Absolutely, without a doubt, the ability to create a list of favorite sites right on the 9rules homepage without having to log in or sign up. They’ve basically created a RSS reader for people that don’t know what RSS is.

I’m sure the boys will be posting more about it in due time but I just had to say something.
