The boys are back
October 13th, 2005
Well, nobody can argue the fact that the Gator’s dropped the ball, so to speak, in their humiliating defeat by Alabama. On the plus side, last weekends outting put another notch in the win column for my boys.
The win was by quite a margin too. Looks like the coach managed to sort out what was going on in their collective heads. Good to see that one loss stayed as one loss.
Thanks for Thanksgiving
October 11th, 2005
Wow, let me tell you, the last two days have been fantastic. First of all, I met some amazing people this weekend, namely my new brother from another mother DJ, and Phil. These guys are definitely good people. We went out this last weekend and we went out big. Unfortunately, some things cannot be repeated here as I’m not sure you guys are ready for it.
The reason I’m so happy about the last couple days is really because of the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday. I took a trip down to my parents house on Sunday to partake in the goodness of the gobbling bird and I was not let down. My mom and my grandma can cook! If there were anything to be thankful for I would start with that [Note: I'm not a heartless bastard, there is much for me to be thankful for, I'm just saying that tops my list]
Needless to say I ate just enough to make me realize that only one little bowl of ice cream for dessert would be plenty. There was stuffing, turkey, mashed potatoes (my personal fav), salad, and much, much more. Here’s hoping your Thanksgiving was as good as mine. [For my US readers, here's looking forward to a bountiful weekend]
My office
October 2nd, 2005
Since I had a pretty stacked weekend I was ready to spend yet another week with my messy office. I certainly wasn’t looking forward to it but sometimes we make compromises.
As it turns out though, some of my plans fell through or got put on hold for a couple days. This has allowed me to spend some much need time and TLC in my office getting things up to snuff. The job is far from complete and there is still much work to be done but I thought you would get a kick out of how it looked up until this weekend.
